After Conrad’s passing, Nicoline presses on with their dream of sending bold-tasting beer the world over
The Faxe Steambrewery is founded by the couple Nicoline and Conrad Nielsen. The first products are malted beer and mineral water.

The brewery enters a period of rapid expansion. More demand means more FAXE
A new facility is built, and FAXE starts pouring into pint glasses across Africa and Eastern Europe
At just 23, Nicoline’s grandson Bent takes over as CEO – talk about bold, right?

FAXE joins Bryggerigruppen A/S, nowadays known as good ol’ Royal Unibrew
1925
Bryggergruppen A/S changes its name to Royal Unibrew and FAXE Beer is focused on the export business. Sharing is caring.
